16536 A0519 Winnipeg Fire Department Collection     Fire Destroyed Radford Wright Ltd., 776 Main Street, Just South Of Sutherland Avenue, Winnipeg. 2 Firemen & 5 Other People Killed. The Explosion Was Heard For Blocks By Many Theatre Goers Returning Home. It Was Believed At The Time That The Fire Had Been Set. Near The End Of March, A James Dodds Was Arrested. He Confessed Setting 98 Fires, And Pleaded Guilty To 10 Charges Of Arson. He Was Given 15 Years On Each Charge. He Was Committed For Trial On A Manslaughter Charge In The Deaths In The Radford Wright Fire.
